Interior is an intentional review promoted by the Nanjing Forestry University and in particular by the Department of Architecture and Design of the same university with the will of promoting the architectonic culture and the design in China. The review is addressed exclusively to a local public, and for this reason it is entirely written in Chinese. Its aim in fact is to report about what is happening in the branch of design and architecture in China and abroad.
Very pleasant and cured in its graphic profile, the review introduces projects and instalments from all over the world. It can be very stimulating and also can give important informations to local designers, making a contamination between far cultures happen, giving them the occasion, not always possible, to meet and get to know each other. In order to increase its distribution range, Interior avails itself of the collaboration of correspondents from the United States, Finland, Japan and Great Britain, who guarantee a constant updating with informations and news from these countries.
Together with these continuative collaborations, there are occasional ones, related to special events, that give big importance to particularly interesting topics as exhibitions or international fairs. Under this point of view, many issues of the 2000 reported articles about the Italian design, giving much attention to what has been shown during the edition 2000 of the "Salone del Mobile di Milano".
