 69th INTERNATIONAL ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION
 MADE IN TUSCANY III Edition


International Art and Craft Exhibition 2005, organized by FirenzeFiera in cooperation with Artex, is a prestigious showcases for the Artistic Arts and Crafts and traditional quality, at both national and international levels. An event of large glamour in which are mixed culture, meetings, parties and a lot of other ingredients.

With a new organization of the spaces, in 69° edition of the International Arts and Crafts Exhibition, past, present and future are jointed together in the name of timeless products, the works of craftsmen/artists that are also rich of innovations and individual researches about the new cultural tendencies, worthy of to be discovered. Everything under the unique "brand" of the International Arts and Crafts Exhibition: an event of quality that will accompany the visitor for an unforgettable journey in the art.

The exhibit is organized according to the following themes: Interior Scenes, Territories, Visions, Harmonies of well-being, Fashion Scenarios, Precious Scenes, Handicraft and Environs, The Taste. Inside to every section will be available masterpieces of the handicraft, coming from all over the world.

The area Visions is devoted to innovation, design and research. A selection of the Italian and foreign artisan enterprises that have chosen new languages express and proposing solutions that anticipate the new styles of life. One display window of prestige for the international handicraft.
Colors and taste are interlaced in Fashion Scenarios giving life to not banal objects. This area is dedicated to foreign and italian fashion accessories.
An other area is Precious Scenes. Gold, precious stones, but also silver and metal.

Finally, between the more interesting proposals of this 69° edition, we signal Made in Tuscany 2005, a regional spring design appointment, at its third edition today. The furniture design competition, organized by Expolab, had for topic theme to mark in the projects the characters expressed by the Tuscany tradition. A re-thinking of the values that connote and characterize the "Tuscanity" was demanded to the partecipants and the jury in 26th February, in the seat of the "Associazione Industriali" of the Arezzo Province, has rewarded the following projects:

Convivio: cups for "vin santo" and "cantuccini" designed by Barbara Puccini and Elisa Puccini.
Jury Award for Master Category
Colonnato: a terracotta vase realized by Renato Meneghetti.
1° Classified Students
Piazzetta: a collective straw-bottomed sitting with iron structure projected by Lavinia Bolognesi.
2° Classified Students
Bugnemorbido: a sofa-carpet designed by Grazia Antonella Patruno.
3° Classified Students
Bigod́: a butter curler created by Veronica Salvarani.

Miss Mondo: an upholstered sofa designd by Carlo Caltabiano, Santo Cicala, Giusi Stagnitta.
