In 1972 Busnelli Gruppo Industriale moved to Misinto, near Milan, where it constructed a factory, the first example of its kind, which is even now a reference model due to the production systems adopted and the technology applied.
Busnelli made research one of the fundamental cornerstones in its business history, through the Centro Studi & Ricerche (study and research centre), permanent practice centre for ideas and experiments.
This year at the Milan International Furniture Fair Busnelli company presents the following products:
Fiocco - created by the G14 group, it is in Permanent Collection Museum of Modern Art of New York -, Libro and Baffo, design symbols par excellence created by DAM (Designers Associati Milano). These armchairs have now been entirely revisited, with variations of materials and colours, in total respect of their vibrant identity.
Fiocco finally, is being paid a tribute by two small armchairs Spinnaker and Tormentina, designed by Enrico Cesana, which re-propose and reinterpret its original lightness.
Igloo, by Enrico Cesana, is an upholstered sofa set that can be freely combined, with a confident and carefree design, and a fine play of volumes. A new proposal, speaking a language that is young and sophisticated at the same time.
Take it easy, by Centro Studi & Ricerche Busnelli, is a series of contemporary sofas with character and class. Large and generous seating spaces, witnesses to milieus of exclusive taste and refinement.
Sliding box, by Centro Studi & Ricerche Busnelli, sofa with completely removable covers. The seat depth is determined by the end user. The relax position with extended seat is obtained, when sitting, by pushing the seat forwards through bodyweight and by blocking it in the position desired.
Reverso, by Tarcisio Colzani, is the most advanced response in terms of high-tech seats. Much more than a chair, it is an innovative object which transforms a seat into an elegant chaise-longue.
