At the Milan International Furniture Fair 2008 Plank presents:
Myto – designed by Konstantin Grcic – is a cantilever chair, made entirely of plastic. The plastic Ultradur® High Speed provides the necessary flowability to inject Myto as one monoblock with a supporting frame structure and a perforated seat and back that convey the feeling of flexibility which is typical for a cantilever chair.
The concept of the Vela chair collection, disegnata da Biagio Cisotti e Sandra Laube, is based on lightness. Like its name, the product is inspired on subtile lines, shapes and volumes. The metal legs penetrate gently to become an integrative part of the object. The Vela chair series are built of three very coherent seat typologies –
Vela side chair,
Vela armchair,
Vela lounge chair.
The Side table – designed by Studio Plank – is characterized by its lightness and the colour of the top which extends till mid-frame. Side is a product with strong sense of expression and it adapts to various ambiences and applications for the domestic as well as the contract environment.
About the last seasons Plank presents the Miura stool – designed by Konstantin Grcic – is made of reinforced polypropylene injected in one block. The innovative injecting technology as well as the requirement to develop a barstool for contract and domestic environments have lead to the characteristic form of Miura. As a supplement to the barstool Miura the Miura table was developed. Because of its material and function is highly for destinations like cafeteria, bistro and catering industry. The table is produced in 3 heights and available in 5 colours.
Moreover Plank represents Mon Ami, designed da Claudio Bellini, which the elegant game of light and shadow makes an original chair where lightness and solidity magically evolve into a plastic balance.
